Released at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Jesko has inherited the throne of Koenigsegg's leading track-devouring road-legal hypercar. The car features a re-design 5.0L twin turbo V8 engine that produces 1,280hp on standard pump gas and 1,600hp on E85 that is only available in select markets.

The Jesko's aero design is entirely new although you may still find design cues similar to that of the Regera. Among other things, Koenigsegg implemented an all-new rear wing, diffuser and front splitter that form the core of its active aero package to maximize downforce when needed while reducing drag. Koenigsegg's signature wrap-around windscreen also plays a crucial role in the aero performance of its cars, as no other windscreen design can offer the same drag efficiency and high-speed stability by reducing upper body lift and delivering high-quality airflow to the rear wing. In all, the car produces over 1,000kg of downforce.

All that power and downforce transfers a tremendous amount of force to the front and rear axles. High loads on the rear are imposed during launch, to the front during braking events and to the front and rear during high-speed runs where that 1,000kg of downforce is produced. To combat any instability, Koenigsegg fitted its Triplex suspension at the front and rear of the car, a first for the Swedish car manufacturer. Triplex was developed for the Agera back in 2010 where a horizontal damper was first added to combat squat; allowing the car to maintain a stable ride height during high aero load without compromising grip and handling at lower speeds.
