Pagani L'Ultimo

Pagani's 100 unit run of the Huayra came to an end in 2018 with the last unit making an appearance at the 2018, The Quail Motorsports Gathering. Dubbed the "Huayra L'Ultimo," this special edition Huayra features a bespoke Mercedes AMG Petronas color scheme and various elements of the Huayra Evo making it one of the most aggressive Huayra's on the road. Powering the car is the familiar AMG-sourced twin-turbo V12 that produces 789bhp and 811ft lb of torque driven to the rear axle and delivering an unofficial 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds and a top speed well over 200mph.

The bespoke body kit includes the menacing Tempesta front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear wing and a hood scoop reminiscent of the Cinque models that hovers above the cabin. With a mix of exposed carbon fiber, silver and turquoise paint scheme that continues into the cabin, the L'Ultimo is one of the best looking Huayra's to leave the Pagani factory.

Horacio's insatiable attention to detail is the key ingredient of all his creations. The Huayra featured 4,700 new parts, 3,000 bolts that are individually branded for each car, the key is milled from a single piece of billet aluminum into the shape of the car, and beautiful leather straps restrain the clamshell. In the end, there is no limit when it comes to building and designing a Pagani; even production numbers seem to get skewed (like what we saw in the Zonda). However, earlier this year, Horacio announced they would only update current Huayra chassis into bespoke builds (to as Horacio states: "express their personal taste") moving forward, meaning there won't be any new chassis numbers being designated for the Huayra. Looking forward, the Italian manufacturer looks to launch a new 1,000hp V12 model in 2021 and an electric hypercar in 2024.
