The ZeroUno

Italdesign debuted their first in-house supercar dubbed "ZeroUno" at the Geneva Auto Show in March . Powered by a 5.2-liter V-10 and shrouded in carbon fiber, the Zerouno will do 0-60mph in 3.2sec and top out at 205mph. The car shares many of its parts including the engine with VAG's other super cars like the Audi R8 thanks to Italdesign's long-lasting relationship with VW Auto Group. With only 5 coupes to hit the market, the base spec runs for a cool $1.7M, with a fully-loaded model costing more than $2M. If you are a fortunate sole that has the funds to buy one, you are out of luck as all 5 have been sold.

If you haven't heard of Italdesign, it behooves you to know that the co-founder of Italdesign, Giorgetto Giugiaro is responsible for designing multiple poster cars like the  Maserati MC12, BMW M1, and  Alfa Romeo GTV.

The Zerouno's design is centered purely around aerodynamics and light weight. At the front is a six-sided polygon intake first seen in the GTZero concept-car in 2016. Along with the two side air intakes the car recieves excellent air flow. Instead of creating lift, its Y-Shaped hood vents create exceptional downforce. This aerodynamic flow is maximized by the rear spoiler's lower wings. It's LED lights utilize a floating design in the front splitter and in the rear diffuser, again aide in creating downforce.

The rear is an ode to Zerouno's "extreme" character, with bare styling its angular outlines of the spoilers reveal the tires and, in the middle, the two 80 cm wide hexogonal titanium exhausts tips accelerate the out-flow of exhaust gases.
