The Aventador S

Lamborghini recently released an updated version of their flagship V12 model in the Aventador S.  It may share a name with its predecessor but Lamborghini have made multiple adjustments to the chassis and powertrain to deliver an even more powerful platform for a few fortunate souls to enjoy. Its engine displacement remains a 6.5L but with a bit of tuning in the form of more aggressive valve timing and intake tuning help the V12 put out an additional 39hp for a total of 730hp. Lamborghini have also allowed it to sing a bit louder with a higher redline of 8,500rpm buts its AWD system and dodgy single clutch automatic gearbox are carried over from the LP750-4.

Other updates include its more aggressive styling and aero kit that increases downforce while reducing drag by introducing two new air ducts and splitter at the front-end while a revised rear splitter and movable wing takes care of the rear. Lamborghini have also fitted their new four-wheel steering system that replaces its predecessors conventional toe-control links with two separate actuators capable of adjusting the rear wheels steers angle in milliseconds (5 to be exact). As with Porsche's system at low speeds a tighter turning radius can be achieved by having the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction from the fronts and at higher speeds turning them in the same direction for improved stability.
