THE LP750-4 SV

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV features an upgraded powertrain over the standard Aventador (LP 700-4), with maximum horsepower increased to 740hp from the standard coupé's 690hp along with a weight reduction of 110lb from increased usage of carbon fiber both inside and outside the car. The adjustable rear wing and air intakes were replaced with fixed carbon pieces that made up the bulk of the weight reduction. The 110lbs lost allows the LP 750-4 SV to have a power to weight ratio of 1 hp to 2 kg.

To cope with the increased horsepower and reduced weight Lamborghini fixed many improved aerodynamic features that increase downforce by 180% when compared to the standard Aventador. The most notable aerodynamic upgrades are the revised front splitter and rear diffuser, along with the giant fixed wing. Even the car's driving dynamics have were upgraded, featuring new enhanced electronic steering that adjusts its steering rack in real time based on driving conditions (speed, road conditions, engine mode, etc) that inspire great confidence in the driver. The magnetic pushrod suspension ties all the improvements listed above together to make the SV a complete package; allowing its 6.2L 740hp V12 put the power to the ground whenever the driver puts his foot to the floor. In fact, the SV is so quick it managed to complete a lap around the Nurburgring in 6:59.73, just two seconds slower than the Porsche 918 Spyder, making it the second fastest production car around the Nurburgring.
